Jullie has dedicated her professional life to achieving excellence, as a successful business owner, hair designer & educator.


As owner & founder of The Wearhouse – A Hammer Salon, Jullie has reinvented the hair industry on the Central Coast of California. She is a Licensed professional Cosmetologist and has a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.


Jullie brings her education of architecture and design to develop original custom looks for each guest, while showcasing the latest styles and trends. Jullie Hammer is currently the Official Hair Sponsor for Miss California/Teen USA, Miss Teen USA, & Miss USA under the Miss Universe Corporation. Using her experience and skill, Jullie provides her clients with the education and tools to improve the health, condition and style of their hair. Her goal is for every client to walk away from their experience with beauty knowledge that they can utilize for their life.

What is your background in the Beauty Industry? 
I
attended Paul Mitchell the School- Costa Mesa back in 2010, moved to
Paso Robles in 2012, where I met salon owner Jullie Hammer. Jullie and I
worked along side each other for 1 1/2 years both in salon and on the
road with Miss California USA pageant. The past 3 years I have built a
great clientele behind the chair, worked on various Television sets
doing hair and make up, and have completed 4 wedding seasons on the
Central Coast.


What are your hopes for our industry? 
For
Hairdressers to remember their importance to every client. We may not
have a magic wand but our clients think we do. We can make any bad day a
little better without knowing it.

A Latte of it!

Have been a freelance make up artist for six years and have been a licensed stylist for 5 years. Always keeping my art current by attending classes held by top artists like: Tracey Cunningham, Jen Atkin, Heather Chapmen, Guy Tang, and Chrissy Rasmussen.
What are hopes in for our industry?
I hope that fellow artists including myself always stay true to each individuals art form, and to find what makes them unique.

What is your background in the Beauty Industry? 
I spent all of my childhood going to work with my mom to the salon. I was fascinated with watching the stylists work. I graduated beauty school and went straight into assisting. I have trained under 3 different stylists, including Jullie Hammer. Each stylist taught me something vital in the industry. I’m so thankful to be a part of The Wearhouse team. I’ve enjoyed watching our Salon grow.
What are your hopes for our industry?
I hope that we can all remain humble and eager to learn. I love being apart of a team that encourages and helps one another.
Last but not least, How do you take your coffee?
Level 7-I drink the first half hot in the morning and by 11am I drink the second half cold.

When I was 7 years old I learned to manicure from a Professional Cosmetology Instructor. When I was 27 years old I studied and received my Cosmetology License. I have been working in the industry for 26 years. I owned and operated my own salon for 8 years in my hometown before moving to San Luis Obispo County.
What are your hopes for our industry? 
I hope the state of California continues to regulate our industry. Our industry is truly an art that requires professionalism and needs to be mandated to protect the safety of the consumer. Requiring a licensed professional by the state insures this and is important to those who perform services.

What is your background in the Beauty Industry? 
I had the experience of interning under a really great stylist. She always had inspired me to do more. I appreciated learning those things with some phenomenal styling techniques which is what really got me into styling hair. I have gotten to do a lot of photoshoots for local businesses, which has gotten me amazing opportunities. Shout out to Taryn Dudley, for being an incredible photographer. We have a picture going in Ulta Dec. 2016.
What are your hopes for our industry? 
I hope for every stylist to truly support one another. We all want the same outcome! I also hope to see this trend of having healthy beautiful hair continue. I would love to get back into critiqued styling like the 20’s-60’s. Just putting a little more style into hair on the day to day.

What is your background in the Beauty Industry?
I have been doing hair for 16 years, most of my career has been in Atascadero at Genesis Salon. A few years ago I moved to Las Vegas. I am currently working at the The Hair Standard Salon in Summerlin as well as working at The Wearhouse one week a month. This past year I became a Joico Educator and am looking forward to furthering my education with them.
What are your hopes for our industry?
I love how our industry is progressing and how hairdressers are coming uniting more as a team. Team work makes the DREAM WORK!
Last but not least, How do you take your coffee?
Hmmmmmm ….  I like iced cold brew with sweet cream. It gets my juices flowing. But before I get a cold brew I make a coffee at home, black with cream and I like a level 7 worth of creamer. lol!
